- Housekeeping: The Chairman advised those present of the emergency escape procedures. It was requested that mobile phones be switched to silent. If a call was received and had to be taken Members were politely requested to leave the room.
- Apologies for Absence: Cllrs Barnes, Emmerson, Kirby and Rutland.
- Declaration of Interests: None.
- Financial Transaction and Bank Reconciliation Statements: Details of the Town Council’s bank reconciliation statement for the period up to 31st October 2021 was submitted. This detailed the monthly bank statement for each of the Town Council’s accounts and detailed total receipts and payments in total for the month. These were presented to the Finance Committee for scrutiny prior to being presented to full Town Council. The financial transactions for both the Hub Account and General Account for the period 1st – 31st January 2022 were submitted.
- Applications for Grants or Donations: Ingleby Barwick Communities – An application for funding had been received from Ingleby Barwick Communities for the launch of a community planter project. The Finance Committee considered the application prior to its referral to Town Council. The application was evaluated against the Grants and donations criteria. The application had stated that the organisation had a bank account in its own name, however, details of the accounts submitted were for an account in the name of Cultivate Tees Valley CIC. It was requested that the Town Clerk contact Ingleby Barwick Communities and request the application to be amended. Upon receipt the committee were happy to forward the application to Town Council for consideration.
- Register of Hub Contracts: The Town Clerk and Cllr Irwin would continue work to compile a register of Hub contracts.
- Banking Arrangements - update: - No further update to report.
